For nearly five years, I have worked as a copyeditor for a major producer of online training material for certified professionals for Thomson Reuters.  In this role, I have expanded my understanding of instructional design principles.  I’ve created content for a home design magazine, a newsletter (print and electronic), online product reviews, press releases, advertising/marketing copy, technical documentation for software, websites for university classes, and worked as part of the editorial staff of a medical journal. I am an extraordinarily versatile and adaptable writer, capable of capturing a wide range of “voices” and writing for diverse audiences.  I am also a devoted husband and father, guitar player, runner, and beer brewer.

I received my degree in Radio-Television-Film from the University of Texas at Austin’s Jesse H. Jones College of Communication. I specialized in screenwriting (please consider me for scripting video and audio projects, as well) and took every opportunity to sign up for writing-intensive classes.
